What paraeducators do
Paraeducators — sometimes called paraprofessionals, instructional aides, or education assistants — support teachers and help students stay engaged, included, and successful!
Paraeducator job responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with a range of needs from academic to behavioral
- Providing 1:1 or small-group help
- Assisting with IEP accommodations
- Reinforcing lessons and classroom routines
- Supervising students during transitions and activities
How it works with Scoot

Work with a dedicated consultant who learns what you’re looking for and sends you assignments that fit.
They’ll check in on how work is going and review any feedback with you.

You decide what to accept and can update your consultant whenever your goals change.
