- Self-paced: Positive Behavior Intervention (AB 1172 Training – Required in CA)

- Large client commitments such as bubbles and multiple long-term placements can include professional learning as part of the package.
- Virtual session costs decrease as you add more sessions.
Flexible implementation
We can work with your school schedules to find what’s best for you and your educators.
- Our fixed programs are offered on set cadences. For example, substitute teacher professional development is offered every summer while para professional development is offered quarterly.
- Upon request, we can have Scoot Learning up-and-running for a new client in as little as 3-4 weeks. For in-person events, please reach out with at least one month’s notice.

We can work directly with districts who staff their own substitutes, paraeducators, or behavior interventionists and want professional development for their teams.

Absolutely. You can select individual sessions from our catalog or build a package that fits your budget and schedule.
The more sessions you book, the lower the per-session cost — but we’re flexible. If you’re committing to a larger contract (like a substitute bubble or long-term placements), we can also customize modules or include professional learning as part of your agreement.
We can typically accommodate groups of 50-75 learners.
Both. Most Scoot Learning sessions are virtual and run for two hours, making it easy to coordinate with busy school schedules.
For Scoot educators, we also offer in-person training for topics like crisis management (QBS-Safety Care Certification).

We can have a custom session up and running in as little as 4 weeks for Scoot educators
For in-person events, we recommend at least four to six weeks’ notice to coordinate logistics.
However, for our fixed programs — like our quarterly paraeducator sessions or summer substitute teacher cohorts, only select Scoot educators who are in longterm placements with school partners may attend.
- Growth Hub: All Scoot educators have access to Growth Hub, scoot’s learning platform built specifically for our educators. In it, educators can find bite-sized microlearning modules, each under 9 minutes to complete. Focused and actionable, each module provides educators with practical strategies they can use immediately in any classroom setting. Topics covered include: Giving clear directions, de-escalation, trauma-informed practices, social-emotional learning, and what to do if there isn’t a lesson plan.
- Quarterly Paraprofessional PD: Scoot offers quarterly professional development for long-term paraprofessionals to upskill and learn in community with one another. Topics include supporting students with disabilities, 1:1 relationship building, intro to Autism, and behavior management.
- Behavior Support Training: Educators beginning new long-term behavior support roles are invited to training with our in-house BCBA coordinator. Topics include positive behavior strategies (PBIS), applied behavior analysis strategies, understanding and implementing behavior intervention plans, and data collection. These sessions are offered monthly.
- Summer Professional Development: Educators committed to long term roles gain access to optional summer professional development days. These instructor-led virtual sessions upskill educators to increase their effectiveness and start the new school year with greater confidence.
