Matching
Matching isn’t just a step for us. It speaks to the core of how we view placements as not just sending anyone available but the right person.
We look closely at your program design, student needs, and educator strengths to make thoughtful, intentional placements. If a role calls for specialized skills or additional prep (such as 1:1 or small‑group special education support), we closely vet educators who actually have these skills before they ever step foot on campus.
Training & Transition
For long‑term roles or positions requiring specialized skills, we offer targeted training in areas like supporting students with disabilities, ABA basics, PBIS, behavior strategies, and crisis‑prevention techniques.
When needed—especially for behavior specialists—we coordinate smooth transitions with overlap time so students feel supported and continuity isn’t disrupted.
Ongoing Support

We check in regularly, gather feedback, and adjust staffing as your needs evolve.

Arc Experience
The Challenge
Arc Experience, an after school and experiential education provider, needed to launch their partner’s after school program without delays or waitlists while meeting strict student-to-staff ratios for safety compliance.
The Scoot Solution
Scoot quickly provided substitute program leaders to fill urgent gaps.
As the partnership grew, we began supporting specialized roles in Music and Special Education.
The Growth
From 3 schools and 3 long-term roles to 13 schools averaging 19 long-term educators plus day-to-day bookings. Since the beginning of our partnership, Scoot has delivered 622 educator placements, helping Arc scale and stay compliant.
Poway Unified School District
The Challenge
Poway Unified School District needed fast, reliable staffing to support their growing expanded learning programs—especially educators who could work 1:1 or 1:2 with students with special needs. They faced aggressive timelines and a widening gap in coverage.
The Scoot Solution
Scoot partnered with Poway Unified through a proactive, consultative approach: offering upfront cost projections, monthly check‑ins, and continuous coordination as needs evolved.
We staffed trained educators for before‑ and after‑school programs, including special education support, enrichment instructors, and floaters to ensure inclusive environments.
The Growth
Scoot filled 19 long‑term roles by December and delivered 2,410 total placements with a 99% fill rate—creating consistent coverage, stronger engagement, and a more inclusive program experience for students with diverse needs.
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley
The Challenge
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley urgently required vacancy support so they can focus on hiring full-time staff at the start of summer.
The Scoot Solution
Scoot provided both long-term, after school support and day-to-day substitutes, culminating a total of 300 requests fulfilled before their first day of school.
The Growth
Since then, we have placed more than 150 long-term, after school staff and average less than an hour to fill any last-minute vacancies for Conejo Valley USD.
