Are you looking for support at the district and school level? Now is the time to make a change and help one of our K-8 partner schools that needs a Special Education Teacher working in a Resource capacity. Paraprofessional assistance is included with your caseload. You will have the critical support from a compliance perspective at both the district and campus level.

A successful Special Education Teacher will:
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
  • Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student
  • Prepare timely progress reports for each student
  • Maintain regular communication with parents by means of email, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports
You’ll need to provide the following education & licensing requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • AZ Department of Education Special Education certification
